The Meridian Ministerial Fellowship is an association of Christian pastors in Meridian, Idaho who have a commitment to pray for each other and our city.
MEETING TIME:
We meet twice a month (on the second and fourth Wednesdays) at 8:30 am for worship and for prayer. During this prayer time, we pray for Meridian, its leaders, and for each other and our churches. This is a time of blessing for Meridian pastors.
We meet at Treasure Valley Worship Center, located at 50 W. Spicewood in Meridian.
OUR MINISTRIES:
As the primary ministerial fellowship in Meridian, we are also involved in ministry in our community. Here are some of the ways we are involved:
Community Benevolence Fund: The MMF can be a central distribution point for helping the needy in Meridian, as well as people passing through. Our primary means of assistance is providing gasoline to those in need, but we also help with utilities, medical, rent, hotel stays, and other financial needs on a case by case basis.
Community Thanksgiving Service: Each year, on the eve of Thanksgiving, the MMF hosts a Community Thanksgiving Service. This event opens the door for the churches of Meridian to come together as One Body to worship our God and His Son Jesus Christ. This annual event is held at Meridian Gospel Tabernacle, located at 1507 N. Meridian Rd.
Meridian Mayor's Prayer Breakfast: Each Spring members of the community come together for the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast. This prayer breakfast gives the community a chance to come together to pray for one another and the leaders of our city. This is an inspiration and very well attended event.
Invocation at the City Council Meetings: Every Tuesday evening that there is a City Council meeting, you will find a Community Invocation opening that meeting. The Meridian Ministerial Fellowship is responsible for finding local pastors and church leaders to open the City Council meeting with prayer.
A Ministry of Prayer: Twice each month, you will find local Meridian pastors coming together to lift up one another in prayer. During this time of prayer, we are also active in lifting up our community and the city of Meridian. We pray that God will open our hearts to His will for Meridian and that He will pour out His blessings on it.
